Sucker for Skin Serums~Part 2

Updated: Jun 15, 2022

Hopefully, you read Part 1 of this post, "Sucker for Skin Serums," especially if you are shopping for more affordable serum (less than $20). In this post, of Part 2, I will be sharing higher price tag serums ($20 or more). As I've said before, I am a sucker for botanicals and antioxidant based ingredients that are youth promising, skin radiance promoting serums! I get into a trance over the magnificent ingredients of these concentrated substances that infuse into the skin and ta-da- you have a new face! Okay, that's not actually the case, but, some serums certainly can make improvements :-)

The following 4 skin serums reviewed below are on the higher price end. Three I've purchased and enjoyed, and one is on my 'beauty wish list'! These serums are over $20. Read on, beautiful people!

Facial serums can add restorative attributes to the skin!

Sucker for Serums & Splurging:

* Note: Many of these serums can be purchased at www.pharmaca.com, www.Amazon.com, www.Ulta.com or www.dermstore.com

  • Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant + Superfood Face Oil is a serum that has beautiful ingredients! This is on my 'beauty wish list' for sure! Sunday Riley's description expresses that within this serum are "cold-pressed blackberry, blueberry, cranberry, raspberry, wild carrot, black cumin, grape, and broccoli seed oils retain their delicate, rich nutrients. Healthy-looking radiance is immediately restored, as the skin is fortified with critical antioxidants, vitamins, essential amino acids, Omegas 3-6-9, and skin-soothing botanicals. Created with 100% pure plant extracts, without synthetic fragrance, essential oils, or preservatives, to nurture even the most sensitive skin." WOW! Sounds too good to be true! Find at Amazon, 0.5 oz. is $36. https://amzn.to/2w4i2uI

  • Add on to PM routine: If you are looking for a serum to sleep in and stimulate repair while you rest, Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil is a lovely serum, very gentle with blue tansy-chamomile healing properties. Find at Amazon/0.5 oz. is $55 https://amzn.to/2HXE0Cg

  • Bare Minerals SKINLONGEVITY Vital Power Infusion Serum's creation was inspired by The Blue Zones (which I am a mega fan of)! Taking some secret lessons from the long-lived culture in Okinawa, Japan, this potion features the Long Life Herb used by locals as an essential part of their wellbeing. This infusion serum goes on very smoothly, adding moisture to the skin. Find at Amazon, 6.7 fl oz. is $51. https://amzn.to/2ThCX5y You can also go to the home site of Bare Minerals. They sometimes offer online specials/sales so you can try more than one product.

  • Here is the big spender: Eminence Organics Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Serum. I purchased a small travel/sample size of this green liquid and found it to be nourishing to my skin. I love Eminence Organics as a company, using supreme clean, food-mineral based ingredients in their formulas. The only downside is you certainly pay for such supreme tonics. Start saving your pennies! This serum can be purchased at Pharmaca.com for a whopping $110 for 30ml. https://www.pharmaca.com/eminence-organics-citrus-kale-potent-c-e-serum-30ml

  • Runner Up: Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum. Advanced Skin Care. 9 Actives with HPR & Sodium Hyaluronate. Vegan Non-GMO. Cruelty Free. Next level serum... feared by wrinkles & sun damage alike. Genuine flower power, natural antioxidants & active essentials work hand in hand to help your skin achieve true harmony (Source: Vitacost). Price point is around $28 for 1 oz. If you cannot use retinols, this serum is liken to retinol's effects, but more gentle: https://bit.ly/3zV2fNV
