Aromatherapy for Stressful Times

Feeling down, stuck, overwhelmed? Stressful times call for Aromatherapy! This is a botanical therapy that is simple, quick, and smells wonderful! Truly, the health properties of essential oils are beautiful, natural powers from the earth. Their chemical constituents can literally affect your senses, and the way your body functions. These concentrated forms of roots, herbs, fruits, flowers, resins not only hold aroma benefits but also antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal defenses for us!

No, I cannot make the claim that they will heal every ailment and erase every bad day. However, I can offer my personal knowledge and experience as a therapeutic bodyworker, as well as provide science-based resources, some that date back well beyond my years. Here is a poetic example: "Take the finest spices of liquid myrrh five hundred shekels, sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, two hundred fifty of aromatic cane (calamus), and five hundred of cassia- measured by the shekel- and a hin of olive oil; and you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blend..." Exodus 30:22-23
